  Very pleasant hiking spot, paths are pretty good after the rain. It is a nice dog friendly walking space, on leash, but plenty of shade for them. A great quiet place, beautifully tranquil, and not crowded.

  Interesting park near foot of Steven's Creek dam . Saw deer, turkeys acorn woodpeckers, hawks, so good for kids

  If you're planning to fish from the shore at the reservoir, wear hiking boots. When the water level is low, the 45 degree angle slope is very slippery from the loose dirt and rocks. You could easily slide right down into the water. It's not a great place to stop for lunch either because of all the bees that descend upon you as soon as you open your food. The weather and views were lovely, but stay on the trails if you can find them or go boating.

  Great local getaway. Trails are good for trail running or just walking at your leisure. Didn't go too deep into the park, but plan to the next time around.

  It's a really beautiful park, but all i can remember is running in it. You can see the reservoir from a couple points, but also the freeway. I think that it's a little too close to the freeway to give you that serene hiking feel. I recommend going to the very top, as there's a beautiful view up there, and it's a little farther away from civilization.
