(June 18, 2016, 1:48 pm)De Anza is a really great community college option, especially if you want to transfer after two years and go to a university. Make sure to sit down with your counselor and create a plan of you want to transfer, because every university has a specific amount of credits required. Also, come early at the beginning of the year for parking, as it fills up quickly. But after the first 3 weeks, it clears out and there is a ton of open parking spots.

(June 4, 2016, 5:22 pm)A highly rated community college with and excellent reputation and high completion and transfer rates. Academic calendar is quarter based. Excellent history and anthropology departments. Most departments here are very good. This is a large school with over 20,000 students, including a large percentage of foreign students. One of the best community colleges in California.
