I had a memorable experience with my host family! They were very welcoming and friendly. My host mother took me to Stanford University before school started and showed me around the Cantor Arts Center and also part of the campus. She also showed me the bus stop I needed to take for school. Both of my host parents also prepared me dinner at least 5 days a week. During dinner time, my host father "educated" me about sports especially in America and I shared him stories and facts about my country in return. This is a brief picture of my experience and I cannot speak for all host families or give a "perfect picture" of what's it like living with a host family. If anyone in the program is experiencing discomfort or having some type of issue, please contact ISP immediately. They're helpful and more than willing to help or discuss any problems experienced by the students.

We really enjoyed hosting students from the ISP Homestay program. The students were amazing, interesting, and fun to get to know. It is a wonderful program and an easy way to learn about different cultures. The students arrived exhausted and nervous from their long flights and it was exciting to watch them blossom before our eyes as they got more and more comfortable living us. The students truly became part of our family and we loved it!
