In high school, several serious concussions led to my pituitary gland becoming permanently damaged. I lost tons of weight, looked and felt terrible (I was 100 pounds and I am 5'9"), and was suffering mentally and physically as a result of my extreme hormone imbalances. I went through many doctors - general practitioners, endocrinologists, and urologists - until I found Dr. King. It was immediately clear to me that he had my best interests in mind and was knowledgable enough about my specific issues to get me back on the right track. Further, he listened to me and made sure that the approach we took was something that we both felt comfortable with and worked around my challenging college schedule.

The process was not instantaneous, but with each day I felt better and better. Through regular blood tests and tweaks to my medication along the way, I finally got back my first perfect blood test due to Dr. King's care and attention to detail after nearly a year. It took a while, as hormones are a delicate thing, but it was truly worth it. It's been nearly two years since I got back that test result, and I have never felt better.

Along the way, there were many hoops that we had to jump through as I moved around from pharmacy to pharmacy due to classes, internships, or returning home in between. Dr. King and his office handled it all - insurance changes, relocations, and anything that was thrown at them - quickly and efficiently. If you ever visit the office, you will see that his front office is always busy and his staff are working hard. If you call or visit, expect the conversation to be quick and to the point, however, know that his front office has your best interest at heart and will get things done for you.

Now that I've graduated from college, I will be leaving the Bay Area and will therefore have to find a new doctor. I'm sad to go, but I am forever grateful to Dr. King and to his front office. They not only saved my life, but have me feeling like new. Four years ago, I would have never thought that possible.

So I went to Dr. King to have a vasectomy performed. I was impressed with his thorough briefing, efficiency, and little to no pain. I highly recommend him. I asked how many of these he had done and he was saying that he’s been doing it for over 20 years and he does over five a week.... Another words he seems to have this down. Sidenote I highly recommend the drugs :)

Got the snip. Let’s be real, it’s not fun or enjoyable but Dr. King listened to all my concerns and did a great job putting my mind at ease. The procedure was quick and uncomplicated. After some initial soreness, everything healed up nicely. Good work.
