Chaparral Ranch at Milpitas

This is the third time we’ve been on the trail riding at Ed Levin Park. The view is gorgeous and it’s a very fun family activity. The horses were friendly and took good care of us😊

My husband and I had a great experience on the 60-minute trail ride at Ed R Levin County Park. The park is beautifully green and the trail is adventurous. Our horses “Bella” and “Sasha” were well trained and well behaved. Owen was really good in teaching us the basics and answering all our questions. It was my first time riding a horse and would love to do it again. The staff are friendly and the check in process was smooth though we were late.

Tip: Come early to avoid parking issues. Though Chapparal Ranch has an overflow parking lot, the county park gets really busy and the ranger had closed the main gate. Lucky for us a few cars exited.

I haven't been horseback riding since I was a kid, but i didn't have any problems, my friend and I decided to go and im glad we did, staff was really nice and the trail ride was great, loved the name of my horse, Playboy, I wanted to take him home....
