“Went for a physical and had a great experience at Piedmont Internal Medicine. I was in and out in an hour. I felt like Dr. Long really took time to listen to me and discuss any questions that I had. All of the nurses and staff were very friendly and helpful. FYI: parking is not free and can not be validated. Be forewarned if you have a stroller or wheelchair - I am not sure if there is an elevator in the garage. If there is one I never found it. All of the handicap spots are on the ground floor. TIP: if you are a new patient, print and fill out the new patient forms before your appointment. Everything can be found on their website.”

“Dr. Abellera and Burkhead are both compassionate doctors. Dr. Abellera has been the pediatrician of my 3 daughters for 4 years and we feel very comfortable and attended everytime the kids visit her. Meanwhile, Dr. Burkhead was referred to us by Dr. Abellera's staff. We have been looking for a primary care physician that we can trust and we are comfortable with. Since our kids go to the same clinic, we decided to try Dr. Burkhead. She is very compassionate and spends time to listen to her patients. One time, we were on vacation so we are not able to get to our phone on time and my wife had a critical level lab results. Dr. Burkehead herself spent time to reach my wife after many attempts and made sure that she gave my wife directions medication to take. I highly recommend them!”
