私は観察会関係なしにキャンプの際に登りましたが素晴らしかったですよ。キャンプ場はサンタクララ郡のウェブサイトから予約できますが、カリフォルニア州立公園ではないのでマイナー。なのでピークシーズンでもガラガラ、かつ安い。設備は州立公園と同じ、温水シャワー、水洗トイレ、ファイアピット、フードストレージ、木製のテーブルとイスのセットがありました。 -

(September 22, 2018, 1:23 am)Great place to go for stargazing in an otherwise light polluted area. From Spring through fall there is a star party here on the Saturday nearest the new moon, which makes for the darkest skies. Local amateur astronomers, who are docents, will be on hand with serious telescopes, allowing you to see Jupyter and its largest moons, Saturn and its rings, and several "deep sky objects", such as nebula and star clusters. Definately worth the trip up Mt Hamilton road.
