  My physician is located here in San Jose Medical Group, which is now part of Verity Medical Foundation, which used to be the non-profit Sisters of Charity Medical Foundation. The medical system was purchased by a Wall Street fund for the hospitals that Sisters of Charity owned. Basically, Obamacare has made owning hospitals a profitable venture since the money comes from the government, so cash flow and profit is backed by the tax payer.
  We could do better than this and have government healthcare without the profit taking middle man. We should not be transferring financially distressed non-profit entities that serve the population to hedge fund investors so they can make profit. That is not the point of health care. Until we decide that health care is a human right, expect Wall Street to keep buying out non-profit health care systems and turning them into profit making machines.
  As to my physician, he is excellent. He and his staff deserve to be well paid. They studied for years to deliver quality health care, and they have the student loans to prove it.
  San Jose Medical Group is located in this building, which also has other San Jose Medical Group specialty practices, radiology, cardiology, general surgery, urgent care and a Lab run by O'Connor Hospital.
  It is not a huge building but they are well equipped to deal with most of your problems. I personally appreciate the care given here, and I am happy with my physician.
