San Jose BMW Motorcycles

After 16 years off the bike, I decided it was time to not just return but get the bike I've wanted for 25 years - an R1250 GSA. I'll say right up front that I'm very picky, detail-oriented, and skeptical of all vehicle dealerships based on past experience. I live in the North Bay so the closest dealer was San Francisco. But someone I trust and respect strongly recommended Amy Hunter at San Jose BMW. I figured I had to at least go there for a quote and see if I could use it to leverage the guys in SF. San Jose is over an hour away, so not terribly convenient.
So I emailed Amy, who responded immediately and asked to speak by phone. She was so nice, knowledgeable and helpful. We set up a time the following weekend to meet at the dealership and I met her a few days later. Not only was she incredibly welcoming, but the entire dealership was that way. I felt like I was going to a weekend barbecue at a friend's house. I met Christian who is the only finance guy I've ever enjoyed talking to, Randy and Ray in service who were great at explaining their process there and all the ways they could help, Mike in parts and apparel who was so generous with his time and explanations. I knew from that visit that, not only was I buying a bike that day from Amy, but that I would actually continue to make the trek back for service. I'll go out of my way for good service and they have this in spades!
Another great part of the experience was how comfortable and unintimidated I felt there. 16 years off the bike and not being a hardcore motorcycle guy, I was curious what the buying process was going to be like . It made me so thankful to work with Amy. And It may sound funny, but I was so glad to work with a woman, in a typically male-dominated industry, because it felt less intimidating and she was just so kind and patient with my questions. And make no mistake, she can handle a bike as well as any guy and was so knowledgeable!
I ended up buying my dream bike from Amy on that first visit, felt I got a fair price and walked out of a dealership for the first time EVER feeling completely happy and satisfied with the experience. I felt like I just joined a family! (Side note: I ended up then canceling my appt to San Francisco Motorrad, and I will say they were very gracious and I had very pleasant text exchanges with them the entire time. They are also well rated and I have no negative comments about that dealership)
I picked up my bike the next Saturday. Communication was excellent the entire week of prepping the bike, etc. When I got there it was ready, it was perfect, no issues, no problems, no missing parts, etc. I was so warmly welcomed again, had great interactions with all the great folks I mentioned. During the delivery, I also met Cory who I believe is in sales. I asked him a quick question about fuel and he came out to the bike, shared a ton of great info, walked me through how to adjust my controls and more, when he could have just stayed at his desk and quickly answered my question. Everyone there gives you the sense they are happy to help and they do it with a smile. And as you can imagine, after waiting for a bike for so long and getting the one I wanted, I didn't even sleep that week. And honestly, I felt like Amy shared my excitement. She couldn't wait for me to come down Saturday and it was a very genuine excitement for me.
Overall, I'd just say this dealership has blown me away with kindness, customer service, and peace of mind. I will gladly make the drive to the South Bay for every need knowing that I get to hang out with my new SJ BMW family when I get there!

I needed an ebike and walked in during my lunch break. I got to try several bikes, the salesperson was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I wasn't planning on making the purchase that day, but by the end of the experience was convinced on which option was best for me. Very happy with my experience!

I had a FANTASTIC experience at San Jose BMW! Amy was my point person there and she accommodated me by picking me up from the bus stop as I flew into San Francisco from the Twin Cities and took the train into San Jose from there. I was trying to find my way to SJ BMW on the bus line but screwed up and Amy was able to find and retrieve me from downtown SJ and bring me to the shop to complete our transaction. The bike is beautiful and now has about 6000 more miles on it since I bought it. A good portion of those were the return trip to Minnesota. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Cory. He was most helpful with certain logistical issues I was having and was very enthusiastic about riding and entertaining to talk to. This my first time buying a vehicle out of state and Amy and Cory made this experience top shelf for me. If you’re like me and looking to buy a reasonably priced premium bike from far away and having an adventure riding it home I definitely suggest looking at San Jose BMW. Amy, Cory, my apologies for not writing this sooner but, I’ve been out riding!

Great experience purchasing a new bike. Cory was the coolest salesperson I have dealt with in a very long time. Absolutely no pressure buying experience, even though I made multiple trips to make sure I got what I wanted. No silly hidden or add on fees that you find at other motorcycle dealerships - everything was super transparent. This place is the epitome of what a dealership is supposed to be.

From the moment I inquired about a motorcycle being available, to when I had questions, to when I went in and test rode the 1st time Amy and her staff have been absolutely fantastic.

This place is a family run and operated dealership. They have ties to all the brands that they sell and they're knowledgeable about the bikes that are on their floor. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave they are going to treat you as a customer should be treated with respect and kindness and they're gonna pay attention to you and make sure that you feel comfortable with everything that you're doing and you're not gonna be forced into any decisions.

Upon buying my bike from them they took me around and introduced me to all their staff so I was comfortable with who was there, who was going to be expected to be there, and who can help me. Then when I had my 1st small issue, They immediately reassured me that it would be handled or they would even replace my motorcycle to make sure that I had the best experience possible.

I'm 38 now and I have had multiple vehicles from multiple dealerships and I really can't rave enough about how amazing they treat their customers in comparison to all the other dealerships that I've been to in the Bay area. I highly recommend if they have a brand or bike that you're looking to buy, you get it from them.
