History San José

I am beyond grateful and amazed at all the work it took to move Christmas in the Park to History Park. If Christmas in the Park wasn't already unique enough to San Jose, now it's added to History Park, which holds so much of San Jose's past. It was a feats for the eyes. Make sure to follow the music and the lights - they're synched. If I had to choose 3 favorites , it would be the Spirit of 45 display, the gas ⛽ station, and the "You Matter" tree

i tried swinging on one of the poles like singing in the rain but accidentally bumped into a couple taking a picture and my husband yelled at me. what's the point of living if i cant have a little fun?

Relaxing and beautiful place to go. Best kept secret in San Jose.

Hidden Gem of Historical Information! This small recreation of a town is quaint and charming with it's repurposed and recreated period buildings. Aside from providing a home for historical records and mini-museums representing many of the founding cultures that make up the bay area, but they also have some salvaged landmarks.
I was here for a school tour, but I would love to go back another time and dig a little deeper.
