  The new trail to Mt Umunhum begins here. Shhhh - one of the best kept south bay secrets! There is place for about 24 or so cars. So, be kind, carpool up to this lot. Once this lot is full the only choice someone has is to return or to skip the hike and drive up to the summit. The lot fills up by about 8:30am on weekends.
  
  There are restrooms here - next restroom is up at the summit. Enjoy!

  Good signage and pretty views. Just a bit crowded on the weekend.

  Good parking and good view of Silicon Valley. Staff were friendly and helpful.

  This was a great 7 mile hike. It wasn't too high of elevation so the climb part was gradual and steady. There was some beautiful scenery at the very top which made the hike worth it. I would definitely go back and do this hike again.

  Wonderful preserve for hiking and biking. Some portions of the trail are steep but all are safe.
