As a therapist who specializes in working with those struggling with substance abuse and codependency, I've had many opportunities to interact with the staff of Second Chance. Each time I've reached out I've been pleased to receive stellar communication and support. The homes are well run and rules are consistently reinforced with compassion.
I'm so pleased to have safe, clean and professional sober living houses in the recovery community.
When we needed to find a place for my sister, we looked at several different options and this was by far the best option. The person we talked to on the phone was super helpful and answered all of my questions and really made me feel comfortable. Plus the house is clean and nice and in a good area. I'm so happy this place exists!
I have my own experience with sober living and I can really appreciate the way Second Chance Sobriety Homes are set up. I strongly feel as though the structure is an absolute necessity in formulating a successful foundation for recovery. I currently work at a facility and regularly refer clients here because I know living in any of these homes is exactly what many of our clients need as they step down from treatment and transition back into society and into a routine that fits their new lifestyle. My previous clients have had much success living at Second Chance and I highly recommend these homes to anyone considering sober living.
I spoke with 4 different SLE programs when I was leaving treatment, and I had the best impression of Second Chance. I moved in and was allowed the autonomy to get back to work, develop my sober program in San Jose, and have a safe/comfortable home to return to daily. The nightly house meeting kept me grounded, the chores kept me accountable to my house mates, and I had a lot of free time to discuss life and sobriety with good people in the house. I honestly see no way that my first year of sobriety could have gone as well as it did without the type of environment that Second Chance fosters.
If you want a second chance at a first class life, if you are looking for a place that fully supports your recovery needs, if care and compassion and experience are important to you, you absolutely positively MUST contact Second Chance sobriety homes! They save my life and strengthen my recovery each and every day without fail! Do NOT settle for anything but the best. There's no need to with Second Chance!
