Awesome flight school, Bailey is an OUTSTANDING instructor, super nice, calm, adaptive, well spoken, polite, and takes the multitasking cockpit pressures off of the student so one doesn't feel overwhelmed and frustrated ... as a result one is able to focus and learn and adapt much easier and faster. A lot of instructors don't know how to do that. I've had other instructors before and still have other options, even at E16 San Martin but I choose to stay and fly with Bailey every single weekend FOR A REASON 😉👍

You will not find a better flight school in the area. Bailey is extremely knowledgeable, personable, organized, and trustworthy. I have flown with Bailey several times and after each flight I cannot wait to schedule my next one. He is a great instructor, he does not yell or speak aggressively in any way. He teaches the correct and safe way to do things, as well as coaches you to come to the answer or conclusion yourself when you're ready. Bailey is reassuring if you make a mistake and more than happy to celebrate your victories with you. He is easy to talk to and does not cast judgment if you need to take breaks from lessons due to finances or any other reasons. He records flights with his GoPro in the plane and gives you the footage at the end so you can see your areas for improvement, or so you can show off on social media!

Now about the planes. Both of South County's planes, N61610 and N3912R, are of the most clean and well running trainer planes I have ever seen. It is obvious they take pride in their maintenance and safety of their planes. They are not cheap when it comes to maintenance and upgrades on the planes to make the training process much more comfortable for their students.

All of these benefits and at the lowest rates in the area. It really is clear this flight school is ran by a group of guys and gals with amazing ethics.

Great instructor! This was my first flight in a small plane. Bailey gave me the confidence to take the controls and handle some take offs and landings. His ability to communicate what the plane was doing and what to expect made this a fun and educational experience. I am definitely going up with them again.

Top of the line training. Instructor is very hands on and very personable. I have done quite a few lessons and I can say they are very professional with there work and value creating future pilots. And another great thing is they have the best prices that are not beatable with the one on one time I was provided to make me the best pilot I could possibly be. 10/10 recommend flying with them to be the next future pilot.
