We sent all our eviction cases to this law office for many years. Take an instance, for one of our current eviction processes, we sent the documents to this law office on January 17, 2023; and the lock-out date will be on March 22, 2023, the whole process takes 64 days only, I am happy with it.
My experience with Todd Rothbard law office is awesome! Attorney Steve is very knowledgeable in his profession, candid and patient to guide me through in details of eviction process, I could count on him and was able to get property back in June. Without their professional service to help landlords like me who encountered tenants knowing exactly how to take advantage of loopholes in CA State eviction policies during pandemic by occupying landlord’s house without pay for a year, this society would be deteriorating without justice and integrity. I’d strongly recommend their service to other landlords when you are stuck and seeking for legal assistance.
I had a terrible tenant who knows all the tricks to steal from the landlord during the pandemic. Even though he makes more money than ever before, he just stopped paying rent. Also, he sublet the basement and the garage to two different group of people and kept all the money. After we went to the house and discovered what he was doing, he filed a false police report, accusing me of coming to the house hurting his 3 years old daughter.
You can image how stressful it was to deal with this scam artist. It was such a relief when another law firm recommended Todd Rothbard law offices. Christina was very patient and gave me very helpful advice for free on the phone. When the opportunity arose, they helped me to issue a three day notice. The fee is a flat fee, and is very reasonable. I feel I underpaid them for amount the time they put into my case. We started the eviction process in August, and two months later we already had a very good settlement. In November I finally got my house back and a good judgement against the Defendant.
I am very happy about the end result and their service. Steve was my trial lawyer. His bargaining skill is very sharp, and he works very hard. He even called me at 9 pm to make sure I signed the paperwork. What I like most about Steve is that he cared about the most benefit I could get from the settlement rather than the most money that he can make from the case.
