Gems Academy Childcare

Both my kids are very fond of Ms. Ambrose. She taught my elder one and is teaching my younger one currently. My kids love the time they spend with Ms Ambrose and also want to go over the weekends :). Ms Ambrose is very loving , caring and patient with the kids. The kids feel at home with Ms Ambrose. I highly recommend her.

My 4yr old has been attending GEMS for a year now and loves it. Not only is he happy and having fun, but is also learning so much!
He went into GEMS as a very introverted and reserved boy and I was very worried that any preschool/daycare environment would make him worse. However, it was the opposite. He enthusiastically interacts with his friends at GEMS and talks about them constantly at home. His social behavior at school has also carried over into his home life. He is much more interactive and playful with other children his age.

As for his education, he is getting private-preschool quality activities
and results. My older son had attended Challenger preschool and the education that my younger son at GEMS receives is comparable. There is a big focus on letters, phonics, and blending, but mathematics is not neglected either... GEMS teaches numbers, shapes, colors, and counting. My son comes home with age-appropriate worksheets that he has completed in class, which is in addition to the active learning time. The learning time is well balanced with plenty of outdoor time, interesting activities, and art. They also host special events for the kids like bringing in a petting zoo, and Santa Claus! The children are never bored, and the house is very spacious, with an abundance of great toys. The education my little one would receive was a huge factor in which preschool/daycare I would ultimately choose, and we are so happy and thankful that we have found such a great balance of fun, social activities, and learning!

Oh, and did I mention Mrs. Ambrose and Mrs. Leyla are incredibly warm and loving? ...and provide tons of snacks, and maintain a clean environment, and have lots of outdoor play equipment lol. I could go on and on. It's very comforting knowing my little guy is in good hands and in an excellent environment!

My son has been going to this daycare for 4 months now and I feel lucky to have found this place (and a spot in it...the waitlist tends to get long!). Ms. Ambrose is a gem (pun intended) of a person, always smiling and loving to kids. The facility is spacious (both indoors and outdoors) with lots of toys and educational games. Her helpers are great too! It's a very warm and welcoming place. I am rest assured that my kid is in her hands while I am at work!

Gems Academy is definitely one of the best day care in Bay Area and I feel lucky to have found this out for my daughter. Ms. Ambrose is so dedicated in taking care of children and also very innovative in finding new ways to entertain and teach kids each day. Proper attention is given to their food intake as well, for which I am really thankful to her. Whenever my daughter doesn’t eat well during lunch time she tries feeding her in the evening which is a dedicated care given. Another unique fact about this daycare is that the kids get to play in a very large space with lots of toys and there are many outdoor facilities as well. Ms. Ambrose also gives educational as well as art classes to kids daily. She also gives BrightWheel updates about our child throughout the day and on weekly basis we get to see kid’s videos and photos. My daughter joined Gems academy when she was 13 months old and it’s been close to 2 years now. She enjoys going there and as parents we are also happy and satisfied!

My daughter love this day care . Teacher is amazing affectionate, and attentive to kids needs. It’s not just a play school ,kids do a lot of activities and learn and get ready for pre k and kindergarten.
It’s perfect home base daycare where you get quality at reasonable price . My daughter goes there and she loves it. I highly recommend this place .
