“Had a good experience on my first visit. Got a same day appointment on a weekend which is rare and the doctor took the time to separate the different problems I was having with my vision. She took extra time to explain each condition based on my symptoms. I had to follow up with an opthalmologist and a neurologist and her initial diagnoses was correct. Couple of issues: getting the prescription glasses took 3-4 weeks. I realized later that chain stores could deliver the same prescription in 2 weeks. But hey, supporting local businesses is better. Staff at the front desk was confused, they told me the glasses had not been delivered even after 4 weeks while they actually had them already. To their credit they did call me back. Finally, I needed a referral to see an opthalmologist at UCSF, which I got on short notice, but it included just a summary statement without the raw technical results. Partly due to this, I had to get the same tests done again at UCSF. Maybe this is the norm, but it cost me more of my deductible. All things considered, I do plan to go back to them.”
