Panda Express: I went to the Panda Express many times to the one located at the University of Arizona, while I worked and went to school there. They put out a lot of food and almost always pretty good. This Panda is located in San Jose on Capital Expressway across from Eastridge Mall. The restaurant is only open for take out during the C-19.The fried rice and chow mein were both very good. My mother was with me and we both got two entrees and shared the following items, Honey Sesame Chicken Breast, Kung Pao Chicken, Original Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef®. All the entrees were good. The problem is that the day we went the food was good if you go and order the same items will they be good that day. I hope so or you going to think my taste in food is pretty bad. It all depends who is the person cooking the food. This is not the hardest food to make but can go wrong pretty fast. All I can say that the day and time I went it was good. Take Care.”

Service is five stars from the beginning to the end of our visit: sincere, genuine greetings from the owner and the servers, feels like visiting friends instead of dining in a restaurant. Our visit was during COVID so we were seated at the patio outdoors, it just happened so the weather was perfect and the sunset mesmerizing, perfect for a Thursday evening outing. The food: everything is flavorful, fresh, well-executed, and artistically-plated. We had the chilled English pea soup as the starter... delicate flavors with refreshing taste, topped with beautiful fresh flowers. Blue crab cakes were cooked to perfection with seasoning that enhanced the sweet crab meat. Filet mignon with black truffle potato dauphinois with fondu de poireaux melted leek... I'm still dreaming about it as I type. It's a balanced master piece, the plat de resistance that you anticipate and that delivers. Finally, the chocolate fondant cake with caramel ganache melting heart... the perfect ending note to a gastronomical experience of a dinner. I've had the chance to dine at amazing restaurants around the world, can't believe that we've just found this gem in our South Bay "backyard".”

“Best Tripas! Good tripas are so hard to come by, and then i found El Palacio Del Sabor. Tripas at other places can be burned, stale, too chewy and soft, or they just dont seem like they were cleaned right.. yuck haha. But the tripas here (as long as you ask for them crispy and well done.. dont forget!) are BOMB.COM. A little greasy sometimes but the best I've come by in San Jose. The taste and flavor of the tripas are on point! My personal favorite: Burrito with carne asada AND tripas mixed (crispy and well done).”
