“My daughter has been going here for the past 3 months. It took a while for her to get adjusted but throughout this time the teachers have been very patient and caring. My daughter now enjoys playing there and all the credit goes to her teachers who are constantly making sure that she’s comfortable and happy. It’s a safe and caring environment and I highly recommend it.”

“UPDATE: a school is only as good as its teachers; administration and philosophy can only take things so far of course. Emerson had two great teachers, but for whatever reason it did not re-contract with its upper elementary teacher this year. She was heading towards a decade at Emerson, universally loved by students and parents alike; a high performer, who's students transitioned into middle school effortlessly. Whatever the reason it can't be a good one, and as such I have become hesitant to recommend Emerson. The rest of my review below still applies if they can replace this star and address the administrative woes that led to her loss. Imagine a school in session the same number of days you work, and for 9 hours each day so you can drop off and pick up your child outside of work hours. And no more stringing together camps and vacations to cover school breaks designed to allow farm children time to work the harvests because the school only closes for legal holidays. Now imagine your child wants to be in school that long, and doesn't miss the breaks. Why? Perhaps they appreciate no homework, the same way you like to leave work at work. Or they don't realize the length of the day because its filled with a full curriculum, including art, music, P.E., two languages, sciences, history, and of course the core subjects. They also likely appreciate being able to advance in the core subjects at their own pace. Second grade math, fourth grade reading; wherever your child is and however they progress, Emerson's teachers will help your child learn. And progressing at their own pace means there is nothing to fall out of step with, so you take vacations whenever and for however long you want. The only thing left to wonder is why all schools are not like Emerson. ”

“It's a really good school. It wasn't reported because of the rape, that was the spark school, completely different from the middle school. Teachers are usually nice and are strict in a fun way. Pe and normal teachers are great. They may seem mean but they push you to your limit, in a good way”

“"We have been feeling lucky and honored to have someone like Mrs. Emilia as our piano teacher. She is not only a master-level professional piano player/performer/artist herself, but also dedicated and patient to teach what she knows and has experienced to the young kids (and their parents), in high quality! Her classes are inspiring and joyful for both the kids and the parents. It has been absolutely a treasure for the kids and parents to hear the amazingly beautiful music produced by her in classes and to learn how she makes it. Importantly, she can always easily come up with concrete and vivid examples, stories, pictures, etc, to help kids (and parents) to understand piano playing techniques and the essence of the songs! In addition, she can provide and come up with tons of practice methods to make practicing piano a fun and exciting process! Sometimes I doubt but then am surprised that my daughter is able to produce the amazing sound and melody, by practicing as she suggests! Along the way, I have witnessed and experienced that my daughter's sense and perception of music and sound has been greatly improved. More importantly, her piano playing techniques have been skyrocketed under Mrs Emilia training! Thank you!" Shuying L. Sunnyvale, CA”
