We chose Goddard for the curriculum & structure, in addition to the benefits of regular socialization with children and adults outside our family. The Farm Lane location has terrific leadership and teachers, who all genuinely care and have the children’s best interest in mind, while providing guided play and teaching that prepares them very well. We interact daily with the teachers, both receiving and providing regular feedback about our children’s growth and progress in certain areas. The teachers and leadership have always been available to us, and provide a comfortable, constructive setting to make sure everyone is on the same page and is doing our best for the kids. Our daughters love going to school here. They have made a lot of great connections with both friends and teachers and have grown substantially as a result, both academically and socially. We’re thrilled with our experience and highly recommend this school.”

“Our son has attended Cabrillo MSOSV for the last four years, and we only have great things to say. When we chose this school it was new and perhaps as young as our son, and they have both blossomed over the years. Sometimes, folks ask us what is it that we like about the school so much. The fact that our son goes to a super safe and happy place so we don’t have to worry about him while we focus on our own high pressure day jobs - that would be one of the top answers to that question. When we drop him off to school, we already know we will all have a good day, both at school and work. What began as a meek 2 year old has transformed into a confident 5 year old with abilities to socialize, reason and learn. There are so many exciting, fun and interesting activities for them to do at school, adults can be forgiven for being jealous :) . Our son enjoys all the activities and every day at school. As time goes by, kids grow and have to move on. It will soon be the case for us too and I want to thank Cabrillo MSOSV for everything they have done for us, in normal and COVID times. I wish them the best and hope a lot of next generation of kids enjoy their care!”

“Overall positive school. The principal is proactive and involved, she is working hard to advance her school, and she is by all measures doing a good job. The principal communicates with parents every week on Sunday and informs them of the upcoming week. The teachers are decent too and do their best to give their kids a good education. The school has several programs, activities and events to keep parents involved. The Oak Grove School District is not a wealthy district and at Parkview the kids qualify for free lunch at a rate of over 50% of the population. The majority of the families appear to be working class blue collar, with a few white collar professional parents thrown into the mix. Overall the parents are nice and concerned about their kids. Some of the kids come from single parent homes. A small minority of the kids have behavioral issues, possibly because of the home situation. The demographics are very mixed with Latino and Asian students the majority, then white and black kids. It is a good demographic mix and reflects San Jose and California well. I like the school, my son likes the school and if the parent is involved with their kids education, they can succeed here. Recommended.”
