“Our family has loved Gulu Gulu from day one. My daughter was one of Karen's first students as a preschool student (we had no prior relationship with Karen before this). Now she is in elementary school and still loves Karen and Gulu Gulu. Karen and her staff really prioritize a loving environment. In addition, she taught my daughter all her ABCs, numbers, how to write her name, as well as addition and subtraction. Now with my daughter in elementary school, Karen's afterschool program introduced my daughter to a love of origami and various other crafts as well as introduced her to the Mandarin language. You can tell that Karen really loves kids and is not in it just for the business side which I feel some places are these days. We consider Karen one of our family friends. ”

“It’s been 3 years since my son enrolled in 2nd grade. We don’t know how much to thank Calvary Christian Academy. The teachers are truly seeking God in their daily classrooms, leading the students to trust and love Jesus more and more. my son is learning to be disciplined, hard working and caring person. What a wonderful place to shape his character from early age! Academically excellent as well, when I compare the education he was getting from previous school where he mostly just had fun. I value their structured curriculum and class time which is filled with academic teaching and learning - memory time, English, math, history, bible, science, music, art..... Certainly strong foundation are being built during elementary school. I look forward to middle & high school time, when my son will start elaborating on these foundation. “My husband and I were drawn to One World Montessori when while observing, we noticed a table on the corner with a dove and a bell. We were told by the Guide that it was a PEACE table where children are encourage to use when they were experiencing conflict with other children. The PEACE table reside in the classroom and outdoor environment. PEACE lessons are given once a week at the beginning of each year (January) where the children are taught to resolve conflict by going back to their hearts and to recognize that peace is always an option. While the Guides teach peace lessons to the children, they do not interrupt the children while they use the PEACE table as they encourage the children to resolve their problems on their own with other children. The PEACE table is also very democratic as children can also take the Guides to the peace table if they like. It was such a powerful reminder to my husband and I that we need the skills early on to resolve conflict if we were to have a more peaceful society and that the problem reside in the fact that most of us do not know the skills to be able to resolve conflict peacefully. We have as a family place a PEACE table in our home, garden, and an abstract one during travels to remind our children that talking about conflict is normal and finding peace in every conflict is possible.”

“We are so lucky to have Mrs Sophia as our daughter's piano teacher. She is one of the best teachers you could find around. Not only skilled and professional in piano performing, she is also very dedicated and experienced in teaching, especially for little& young kids. Actually we are so impressed by her patience, care and love demonstrated during her teachings. Our daughter has been learning piano with Sophia for about 1.5 years. She has made tremendous progress. She gains not only techniques, but also learned how to motivate herself to conquer the difficulty in front. Mrs.Sophia always know how to communicate with and become the best friends of the kids. Whenever they need her, she will show her hands. Meanwhile, Sophia is always willing to partner with parents, to foster a comfortably learning environment for the kids, and help them to form a daily practice habits gradually. There are always active communications between her and the parents, many of them are even after scheduled classes, to seek feedbacks and get knowledge of kid's status in a regular basis. She is also very flexible, always ready to tune the teaching and practice methods, to help the students to overcome the different challenges they face. We also highly recommend the group lesson she just opened recently during weekend. My daughter registered both Chorus Class and Piano Ensemble Class, where she learned how to cooperate other players to perform many classical pieces, and I can tell her performing skills get improved a lot! The Chorus Class is a very unique one! The songs originate from Classical Ancient Chinese poems. It's a very rare opportunity to let the kids learn the beauty of traditional Chinese culture in such a beautiful and artistic way! If you or your kids are ABC, I would highly recommend them to attend this class!”

“They are a home-based childcare provider for which my daughter goes to. We are very happy and blessed we found a loving, nurturing and very professional home-based licensed childcare in Liss Childcare & Preschool. They have a very clean environment, show genuine affection to my baby and they provide a list of daily activities (sleep hours, food/liquid intake and the general temperament of the child for the day). They have an all-female staff which is just perfect for what we were looking for. Miss Liss even provides us with tips on how we can help in the sleeping habits of our baby and suggestions on the food since my daughter is still starting on solids. When i drop my daughter off I would know that she is being well cared for because she greets Miss Carmen with a smiling face. There are times even when my husband comes pick her up, she wouldn't want to go home yet because she is having so much fun.”

“Highly recommend Safari Kids @ Milpitas! My daughter started at Safari Kids when she was a little over 2 years. She had just slowly started speaking at that time. She initially resisted going, but within no time she was always excited to go back to school. She spent 1.5 years at Safari Kids (now she is in a different Preschool). Within few months, she could read alphabets. She could say numbers. There was a lot of focus on learning, at the same time there was emphasis on music, fun activities, drawing/painting, fitness (Yoga, Gym lessons etc.). Twice a year, there was dance performance in Milpitas library, which was a delight for us to watch (and so for every parent I am sure). I'd like to give a shout out to her wonderful teachers, Ms. Mili and Ms. Jahnavi who are amazing and exceptional teachers. My daughter formed a connection with them and still misses them dearly. 5 stars from my side!”
