“Villa is one of the only true Montessori school in the Bay area. The teacher to student ratio at Villa is 1:8 and unlike other schools that use Montessori as a marketing tool (you only need one Montessori certified teacher to be certified as a Montessori school), Villa has almost all teaching staff either certified or in the process of getting their certification. What attracted me to Villa is that it is a Non-profit organization and a parent run organization. Parents can take significant role in shaping their child's education environment. With the high cost of living in the Bay area, I am glad that I am sending my daughter to Villa where I can get the most out of my investment in terms of my daughter's improvement in social aspects, academics and mostly her joy of going to school/daycare. I would recommend every parent thinking of sending their child to a Montessori school to visit Villa and see the difference themselves. The teachers, staff and parents truly make a unique welcoming community where you can't see elsewhere.”

“A few weeks ago when I told my daughter that she finally outgrew this place and would have to go to another school, my daughter said she want to be there until she becomes 40 years old! She definitely loves the place and all the teachers! I am not exactly sure what are taught in this preschool, but my girl likes to practice her dancing and drawing at home. We also collected a big-boxful of "projects" she brought home during the past year.”

We basically started working on his writing skills only after joining the 4s and Ms. Smitha was very patient and helpful to develop his interest, motivate him and educate him. She takes special interest and works with parents on the child's emotional, academic and physical well being. Ronav has a fun time with Ms. Norma and she has been helping on his social skills. Ronav was lucky to get constant care, love, support, strength and knowledge from all his teachers in this span of 2+ years. “A place with dedicated, caring teachers and administrators. It is a place where your child feels safe to try new things and thrive. I have been most impressed with the student body, whom I spent a week building houses in Mexico with. No complaining, hard working, and trying to help despite having to learn new skills. The environment is very positive. Both my kids developed into excellent writers in part thanks to AP language and composition and AP World History. I appreciate that the code of conduct is enforced. Yes, kids who violate it do get expelled... which means fewer bad influences and fewer bullies. I can only speak about my own experience. I hope it is as good for everyone else. I am very satisfied with this school.”
