“Mr. Bakus does an excellent job at a fair price. He principally repairs Canon printers , copiers and faxes. My father was a master watchmaker during the days of mechanical watches, and Bakus's small operation and high standards remind me very much of my father's work. Whatever the mechanical problem may be with a Canon printer, Mr. Bakus is well equipped to fix it. My father always had more watches to repair than he had time in which to fix them, and Mr. Bakus has the same problem, typical of every good repair shop that fixes complex mechanisms . Be sure it's a hardware problem with your printer and not a software problem on your computer. Call ahead as his hours can sometimes be irregular. Be sure to know your model number and ask him if he considers that model worth repairing - the low end units may cost more to repair than to replace. Getting parts from Canon may take a while - remember, there are lots of small parts inside any printer. Mr. Bakus is intelligent and honest, and like most repair people, can get a bit frazzled when he's overloaded. Give him the time to get parts and do his work and test the result, and your printer will come back good as new. For me, he's repaired two MP780s, an ip4000, an ip5000, and an iX6520.”

“Rossi Aircraft is a full service shop which services jets to cubs. They did the Annual on my Cessna 182 and I explained what my financial restraints were, what I could afford to pay them to do and what I could not afford to pay them to do. As with any annual, they found stuff broken which I hadn't planned on like my nose wheel rim which turns out to cost a silly amount of money, but Rossi tracked down a used rim at a great price. When it came to address my timed out engine, again Rossi Aircraft offered me three price points and walked me through what the differences were (not just the dollar difference, which was considerable). I found the shop to be very well equipped (they did a DYNAMIC balance of my front tire assembly, not the usual static balance), I experienced a much higher level of knowledge and a fantastic flexibility in providing service to a modest budget pilot. I recommend this shop to both the "Please fix it Alberto" customers as well as the "ouch, is there a way to do this cheaper?" pilots. They also have a 24 hour fuel service with OIL available”

“Cardinal's selection is limited compared to the Bike Connection next door, but they have a better stock of affordable bikes. They offer great discounts, too. Really friendly staff who'll take care of you and help out with installing anything extra you get.”

“Friendly and accommodating staff, nice office. Dr. Newman is extremely talented and skillful in his use of various modalities. I had a reduction of upper arm fat and facial contouring with minimally invasive procedures and injections, and could not be happier with the results. Dr. Newman was friendly, down to earth and genuinely interested in helping me look my best. I recommend him heartily.”

“The best place for Kids glasses.( And adult glasses too ). Lisa was the most amazing and wonderful person we have ever met . She was an expert in finding the right glasses for my daughter who is now 4 years . She not only found glasses with the best fit and the perfect lenses and great look, but was super nice and caring with her . She also changed our whole attitude to wearing glasses as we were disappointed that our little one had to get glasses at such a small age , and told us how it was the best thing for her vision and how it would change her life . They have an amazing selection of frames for both kids and adults ..a huge variety for the kids and adults and they know all about the glasses and frames. One of the best places with exceptional people like Lisa working for them . I have ordered 5 glasses including two adult ones, from them since and have always been happy with the service . For tiny kids this place is AMAZING and Lisa is super duper nice with kids . My daughter now goes there just to meet her as she is totally wonderful :) ..I will recommend them without a second's thought to anyone ..specially for little kids glasses ..Love them :) So exceptionally nice with kids !! Thanks Lisa and Lux Eyewear !”

“This is my go-to for quick sandwich or salad lunch. Love that wraps and sandwiches include side salad. Only serves pre-made food, but there is almost never a line. If you want a fresh-made meal, go to the Y2E2 location. Their coffee is solid but not as many options as Y2E2 and Green locations.”

“We just used Art at Peninsula Avionics again, this time to install a Garmin G5 and rearrange some other panel instruments. We have used his facility on several previous occasions, to include major avionics upgrade projects. We have always found his work to be meticulous, and performed with great concern and attention to the smallest of details. The fit and finish of the panel and the cosmetic aspects of the installations are also impeccable. His pricing is fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Art and Peninsula Avionics, and I plan on using him in the future as our “Go to” avionics facility. Steve Feldman, AirplanesUSA Aircraft Sales, San Carlos, CA”
