  Great Park, there are different levels of trails. Unfortunately we got there when it was rainy but we still had great time. Parking costs $10. And they don't allow you to stay in park after dark at least on November 23 (and all camp grounds were empty), so plan your time when to arrive if you want to get on the longer trail.

  Everyone is friendly. Barry, one of the volunteers was so knowledgeable about the forest. The guided Redwood Loop Trail was awesome.

  Very nice place to go. Nice tours for old and young. Very good service and information desk. Parking situation can be a problem in bank holidays or weekends though.

  Beautiful forested State Park. I’ve stayed in redwood forests before but not one the size and scope of BIg Basin. It was a wonderful place to unplug and unwind for 6 days. Plenty of trials and scenery throughout. We stayed in the rustic Huckleberry cabins which was a nice set up, saving from having to tow or set up a tent. A hike to Berry Falls with young family members was a nice half day trek. This is a top 5 camping experience for me.
