A great place to mountain bike or hike! Many different types of trails here with different terrain and difficulty from fire roads to very technical. Also a beautiful piece of nature.

I love coming here with our dog, especially in the winter and spring. Tons of trails and beautiful scenery for dog walks, hiking, or mountain biking. I'd love for there to be an off-leash area for dogs but with all the cattle grazing I understand why that would be an issue. My only complaint is that the parking lot has conflicting instructions regarding the park pass. The tickets themselves say to keep your pass on your dash in your car but the sign at the entrance says to keep the ticket with you. We have a 6-month past that I photocopied so I can keep one with me and the other in the car.

This was the first time I had ever went on a hike. I had the time of my life!! The rangers were very helpful. The other hikers were nice and the park was so clean. There is a small fee, but it is worth it. My daughter and I even made it to the summit. You can even rent bikes to ride the trails. This is a must for visits to this area.
