Centennial park

The park property is giant; there are fields and tennis courts galore and a very basic off-leash dog park on the North side. It's very clean, and also very quiet. It feels like not a lot of people know it's here, which is great for reserving a court or field, but sad for the dog park.

A great bird watching walk! Criss crossed the paths took 1 1/2 hours. Learning signs on the way. Saw hawks, geese, ducks, cranes, red winged black birds (which sound SO beautiful! ) doves, pheasants and more. Ponds and creeks. Wide open walking. Only saw another 5 other people the whole time with their dogs :) wildflowers, trees, open skies and beautiful vacaville mountain views. I could be wrong but most trails also seem handicapped accessible. What a great local sanctuary!

Needs garbage cans around park.

Enjoy walking the dogs here. There is plenty of room and wide open fields for the dogs to run and exercise. That is the main reason I go. Others may go for the baseball and soccer games.

It would be nice if this park had some toilet facilities. They have Portapoties next to the soccer fields but they are behind locked cyclone fences. Can't get to them unless there is a game in progress.
