“Keep finding new places to explore! The trails are hidden in so many nooks... so many bird varieties. Lots of baby birds/ ducks/ turkeys/ in the park. Many shaded trails to escape the heat. There is an archery field, an electric flyer field, hiking, and more. It's one of my local sanctuaries :)”

“Always a great local place to enjoy a nice walk or enjoy some wildlife. There are plenty of ducks and geese to enjoy. Sometimes too many! So make sure to bring duck food. In the water you'll see some turtles. There is also a nice dog park, which seems to always have well mannered dogs. Occasionally you'll see some people riding horses or can get up close to the cows on the hills of this park. Just be careful where you step in the grass, a lot of geese and ducks means a lot of droppings”

“Husband and I picked up dinner from DQ and had dinner in the Keating Park parking lot reliving memories of when our son played ball there back in the 80s. We were the only car. It was peaceful and restful and just what we needed. We did, however, miss the eucalyptus trees that had been cut down there along the back fence.”

“Foxboro Elementary School was built in the early 1990's and is part of Travis Unified and not Vacaville Unified. The school grounds are well maintained and the surrounding neighborhood is affluent with homes built in the 1980's and newer. Foxboro has traditionally performed better than Cambridge for academic scoring but it is not a pressure cooker for kids either. The administration, teachers and other staff are supportive with parents, accessible, friendly, organized and care about the students. The school has some military parents who bring in a respectful social element not found at many bay area schools and they have some fun events for kids such as a kite flying social, complete Halloween and Thanksgiving events for kids and many other enjoyable elementary school events making learning a fun and educational experience.”
