Hanger Orthopedic is no exception and Brett Parrish, the specialist over at Hanger in Vallejo, knows the meaning of customer service. I have had a terrible time getting my daughter leg braces. The state-run agencies tasked with providing her funding and authorization for medical equipment have been road blocks to progress. Because of this, the time between authorization of payment for her leg braces and receipt of those leg braces meant that my daughter was too big for them by the time we got them. In addition, his office staff were initially extremely unhelpful. Brett fixed all of that. When he fit my daughter for her braces he immediately saw that she was too large for them and offered to recast larger braces at no cost (this may be something they do regularly but it was still very much appreciated). In addition, when I arrived at Hanger to retrieve the new leg braces, my daughter (who is blind, has cerebral palsy, and significant sleep issues) was asleep. Brett made sure the office was quiet, he turned down TVs, he quieted his staff, opened and closed doors, and took pains to make sure she didn't wake up. Such treatment was a breath of fresh air as many people who work in the special needs world seem to become numb to the challenges the parents and children face. His conduct raised my estimation of Hanger and has made me a fan. Well done. William”
