“I drive literally 30 miles to get this sushi. There are approximately 9-10 places where I can get sushi near me and they don't even compare. It may be a mom and pop place but I enjoy that even more. It is downtown Dixon so the place has some history. The staff is great, the sushi is fresh and tastes awesome, and great prices for the quantity. I have brought many people there that agree. We love Tom, Cielo, Grace and the rest of the staff!”

I felt it could use just a bit of something. Whether it was a little heat or garlic or cheese. It just needed a kick. Still tasty even if it was not the star of the meal. 4/5 Steakhouse Burger- This was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I was trying to deconstruct it and figure out why and I came to the conclusion that it was just good meat cooked to perfection. The bacon jam is the perfect addition and takes it to the next level.”

“First off, the staff accommodated our senior dog in a wagon with open arms and made us feel welcome. Reasonably priced brunch with large portions. I had the Chilaquiles. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the Verde was flavorful and the presentation was nice. Although I am a big sauce guy, the ratio of sauce to chips was overpowering. Reducing the amount of sauce would also give more texture to the dish. Some of the chips got too soggy before I could finish. I like to have a bit of a crunch to the end. This reduction of sauce would also save on food cost and allow for a larger profit while keeping the customer satisfied. I'm not big on sweets but I tasted the French Toast and it was good. Loved the shaved almonds and blueberries. There was a table of youngsters that took away from the overall vibe but the staff made sure they did everything they could make our experience pleasant. I give our overall experience a 3.8 with 4 stars to the food and 5 to the staff.”
