“I've never had tamales so good. I recommend taking them to go, and the owner even informed me they are more known for take-out. I really want to give them 5 stars because the food was that good. I would just like to see them update the inside because they could use a cleaner dining room environment and an air conditioner to make it a little less hot inside during the summer, but if you haven't tried their food I definitely recommend that you do because it was so delicious!”

“Good food, the sourdough bread is fresh tasty and soft not chewy from being old. The Italian was very flavorful, but what was surprising to me was how good the reasonably priced lemon white chocolate cookie was. I eat it before I realized that a picture had not been taken. Unfortunately is the space next to it is not open so I did not notice it had opened yet. Lunch service was brisk and fairly quick, don't know about the evening rush. Someone must have read the reviews about the poor customer service, it was very good today. Manager or owner was going out of her way to be very helpful. Poor CS is a sign of the times, it is so hard to hire good willing to work and be nice employees now.”

“It's like eating in a family home. The lady who took our order was courteous and answered our questions with a smile and pride in her restaurant. She said her family eats there too, so they don't use lard and they even remove grease from their meat. The place is clean and boasts some impressive wood carvings: seats, mirror frames, moldings. The salsa is freshly made, chips fried in-house, beans are salted just enough and smooth textured, rice is light and flavorful, and the cheese is delicious. The veggie burrito comes with guacamole and the enchiladas are doused in sauce. We had a wonderful dinner.”
