(August 31, 2019, 12:02 pm)Really nice trail. It connects the beach and Highway 1 to the campground, and makes for a really good day hike. The upper trail goes to the top of the hill and has great views of the ocean, while the lower trail is shaded by redwoods and has great views of the Russian River. The upper trail is overgrown by grass in some sections, so watch out for ticks.

(August 6, 2019, 2:46 pm)Nice and easy 6 mile-ish loop trail starting from Shell Beach. On a foggy morning better skip it since you won’t enjoy the nice views of the Russian River.
