  This place makes their food with love! You can taste it in every bite.
  
  If you're coming here for anything it's likely their friend chicken... And you should not skip that at all. It's lightly breaded and cooked to Golden perfection. I love friend chicken, had it from every place under the sun, and this place has something special with their recipe.
  
  Was there for the chicken, and stayed for brunch! Well, I had to come back the next day. But the smell of them cooking bacon was driving me nuts! So we came back the next day, and I very much regret not ordering the eggs Benedict with the pork. My wife let me try hers and it was incredible.
  
  I love eggs Benedict, and was worried this place might be trying too hard in this regard. But it was a mistake... I wanted to eat the whole thing!
  
  If you have the time (and money) to make this place work, it's worth a visit of you're around the area.

  Backyard is simply a jewel. Located in a neat little town named Forestville, it resides in an area just barely off the beaten path of the Dry Creek wine country. The food is outstanding, the service was perfect, and the pricing is very reasonable. It is Michelin rated, and deserved. I highly recommend.

  Loved the food and the staff... The donuts were totally rocking with their homemade jams! I had the Benedict with pulled pork, and it really was so good... Served on a homemade biscuit with really delicious potatoes.
  
  All in all I highly recommend this joint, however... There is one negative
  
  We were there on lunch between wine tasting appointments, and we figured 1 hour would be plenty of time for us to get in and out. They took about 45 minutes to get our food to the table, so if you are in a hurry, you need to make sure and let your server know that you have a time schedule so that they can meet it

  This restaurant is unique and charming in several ways. The paintings in the farmhouse dining room are of chickens, in many modern styles. The feel is homey and leisurely. The food is presented beautifully, but the flavor and texture of the locally sourced seasonal menu is the true gem.

  The Backyard is a great place to have any kind of delicious food. We were there for brunch. Everything is good, with polite and helpful waiters. Highly recommend!
