  Jeff was an awesome teacher and we had so much fun trying paddle boarding for the first time with him. Strongly recommend taking an hour lesson - it is well worth it for the beginner. Beautiful location, and he starts you off with simple basics and clear practice instruction on land. Once on the board Jeff will help you fine tune, and adjust one thing at a time. It was surprising and relaxing for us to incorporate some mindfulness and breathing in to our paddling and Jeff is both chill and helpful. This section of the river is also ideal for newbies and our hour flew by. Would totally do again!

  We had a great trip down the river this week. Everything went really smoothly and Jeff was helpful, knowledgeable, prompt and really easy to communicate with. He’s a pro at this and he was especially accommodating to my kids and I being new to the river and fairly novice paddlers. It went surprisingly well and I’d recommend Jeff, Zen and SUP Odyssey to anyone! Thank you Jeff ????!

  A large group of us from work paddled the Russian River. None of us had any experience with stand-up paddling, and everyone loved it! It was beautiful, fun, and great low impact exercise in a peaceful setting. We highly recommend SUP Odyssey, can't wait to do it again!
