(December 30, 2018, 10:02 pm)this place is the best. the guys at sportsman's arms are great. they know there stuff, they dont b.s. you and make everything easy to understand. if I have any questions, they usually have the answers. and if they don't they will find them out for you. the big box stores dont hold a candle to these guys. and the fire arms they carry range from hard to find classics to the latest and greats. well the best that California will allow. if you are a first time buyer or this is a by weekly thing, sportsman's arms is the place to go.

(December 29, 2018, 11:48 pm)Absolutely, Hands Down, the best gun store around. Anytime in looking for something they either have it in stock, or get it within a few days. The ONLY gun store I deal with locally anymore. All other local gun stores treat me like I'm a criminal, because I want something they don't have in stock. Always has a friendly staff willing to answer logical questions. Remember how Radio Shack used to be "back in the day" when employees actually knew how to answer questions, Sportsman's Arms is that way today...

(December 29, 2018, 4:50 pm)Soooo, full disclosure I have not actually been to this shop. I mistakenly left them a poor review (lack of attention to detail on my part) in trying to review a large retailer with a somewhat similar name.
I’m giving them a solid rating because:
1. The proprietor’s response to my poor review was even tempered and factual, and
2. When I called the store to apologize he was gracious in accepting my apology (and didn’t rake me over the coals too bad).
Based on this store’s handling of my mistake and the other positive reviews I will definitely be buying my next gun here. Gonna get that snubnose revolver one day... -
