  I was extremely happy with how i was treated by the staff here. The sales staff went way out of their way for me and the shop stayed open an HOUR AND A HALF after closing so i could pickup my bike after i got off work. These guys went above and beyond for me and i will be using them again if i purchase any more motorcycles in the future.

  I never write reviews for business I frequent. K&B did such a fantastic job I wanted to break from my norm and leave some feedback for others to consider.
  
  Overall: The staff was welcoming and attentive. My requests / needs were met. My expectations were exceeded. I highly recommend buying a bike from them if you are in the market
  
  -The Deal: I decided it was time to upgrade from my R3 (2017) to an R6 (2018). I had a very specific idea of how I wanted the purchasing process to go. I sent out emails to multiple Yamaha dealers in Northern CA. I asked for the lowest out the door price they could do as well as all communication for the deal be done via email. Brandon got back to me early the very next morning and made me an offer that no other dealer could even come close to meeting or beating. He did not even ask me to call him on the phone (multiple other dealers attempted to call me even after I specifically said not to). Aside from the bike being offered at a fantastic price they offered discounts on parts and accessories extended six months past the date of purchase. Brandon even said he would possibly be willing to stretch past six months a little if need be.
  
  -The Trade In: I had purchased an R3 approximately one year ago from Capital City Yamaha. It was my first bike and I managed to hit a patch of gravel and low side it at about 20mph. I was fine but the bike had some minor cosmetic damage. I had to replace levers, glue on light cover. Bar end and engine cover were scuffed. I did not expect to get as close to blue book as I would like because of that. K&B offered me 100 under KBB even with all the damage. They were busy when I arrived on a Saturday afternoon. It took them around 20 minutes to get the R3 back to their techs to be inspected for trade in. I spent that time walking around the showroom floor and took the opportunity to sit on the R6. It took them maybe 10 minutes after the tech got the bike for them to make me an offer on it.
  
  -The Purchase: At this point I began working with Stephanie (if im remembering her name correctly). I came with a pre-approved loan from my bank (USAA) to finance a portion of the R6. I had her run an app through Yamaha to see what they would offer me and my bank ended up being the better deal by a large margin. Stephanie tried to see if Yamaha could meet or beat my bank but they would not. Bring your own financing as I have not had much luck both times I applied through Yamaha. In the process of all the paperwork I took a second to walk over to their parts department and purchase: Frame Sliders / Tank Pad / Engine Protection Kit. I was offered gap coverage and the extended factory warranty at this point which Stephanie pushed. My guess is this is a big point of their profit margin so go into a purchase with a good idea of what you want from this.
  
  -Delivery: USAA could not cut the check until the next Monday and the Engine Protection Cover kit had to be ordered and would not be in until the following Wednesday. I picked the bike up that next Saturday. Brandon had no problem waiting a week for me to take delivery of the bike. I showed up around noon. My R6 was at the exit to the show room. Accessories installed. The bike was clean and the keys were in the ignition. I sat down with Stephanie again to do some DMV paperwork which took a little under an hour. Brandon emailed me a couple weeks later to make sure the gap coverage I did purchase covered the life of my loan. Something I appreciated.
  
  Constructive Criticism: Only a couple very minor points. It would be have been nice to have more of a formal face to face with one of the techs / head of service upon delivery. I had done a ton of research on the bike prior to purchase so had a solid idea of the bikes features / engine break in period so this was not a huge deal. I was able to ask a couple questions, but it felt like somewhat of an afterthought in the whole process. Lastly it would have been nice if the front end of the bike had been facing the exit. Nitpickey I know, but it would have been a nice gesture.

  I purchased Yamaha YZ 250fx recently and it was a good experience. They gave me best price, financing and extra accessories were smooth. Extra bonus points for the technician at the end who gave me some tips on how to maintain the bike!
