  I have stayed here twice and I highly recommend it. The hotel has a historic and classy feel to it. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet and have excellent water pressure. The Continental breakfast is excellent. My only complaint is that they use paper plates and plastic ware, which feels out of place for such historic surroundings.

  Clean, cozy local hotel with history. Pros: great location, downtown Santa Rosa. Walkable distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Charming interior. Cons: It's downtown Santa Rosa, so there's a lot of homeless people around. It's a Victorian hotel, so the air conditioning is Victorian, or somewhat close to it. Very old, noisy, ineffective. Opening a window in the bathroom and keeping the bath door open worked better:) No ghosts, no matter what the local legend says:))

  Very cool hotel. Old and you can tell they kept it as original as possible. I was a little disappointed because I read that it was haunted, but I didn't experience anything that supports it. Would have been cool. Good location, right in down town, a lot of bars and restaurants walking distance

  We were celebrating our honeymoon people recommended bunch of hotels in Santa Rosa Ca. I remembered seen this hotel back in the day when I was a kid called hotel La Rose. I told my partner we should stay there. Many people think is hunted because is been open for business since 1907. We google it and loved the history behind the hotel. To our surprise the hotel was amazing our room was huge set up in the 1900’s amazing decoration from picture frames till the furniture and bed. You feel been trough back in the 1900’s super cool experience. Next time you are around the Santa Rosa area try to book a room at this cool hotel. Thanks to the lady at the registration desk she was great very kind and give us a great room.
