Great access to Santa Rosa if driving and to Spring Lake and Lake Ilsango if walking or biking. No water, electricity or sewers at the individual sites but water and trailer dump is available in the camp. Showers are 5 minutes for $2 and it takes over a minute for the water to warm up. Bathrooms were cold but clean and well stocked. Generally a ranger greeted us night or day when we drove into the park.

Whole Foods and Safeway are within 10 mins(driving) away from the campground.
This place is good for camp beginners!
There is a reception.you can use a cell phone;)

Also, water park is within 10mins away (walking distance). Surely, Kids enjoy a lot over there!
The water park will be closed after Labor Day weekend.

There were soooo many bees appearing when we start cooking. Once bees catch the food smell , they gather around foods.Be careful.

I was going to write a review about how the camp host was very disrespectful. I really wanted to slam this place. Give it a trash review but, after that night I changed my mind. While preparing and making dinner we always listen to music camping being no exception. My girlfriend's truck has an awesome radio. We turned it up a little but we didn't play anything that was disrespectful or offensive. When I stepped away the camp host came by and was very disrespectful to my teenage girls. So I naturally did not turn down the music. After some time the park ranger came by and asked us to turn it down. He also explained to us that some people came to that camp ground to hear the trees. We then turned it down. Even though we didn't have music playing for the rest of the night, we turned it into a positive situation by making a joke of it. Every time anything made noise we would, in our best authoritative voice tell it to turn it down. Squirrel's, lizzards, leaves rustling in the gentle Sonoma breeze, the sprinklers, nothing was safe from our wrath. We all laughed at each other yelling at the squirrels, and in an odd way it bonded us together. This experience still gets 4 stars because the absurdity of us yelling at woodland creatures brought our odd little mixed family closer together. This one negative experience does not change how much I love Sonoma county. In fact it kinda makes me like it more because of the positive memories that came from this experience.
