I think it was around 2008 or so when my phone started asking me to critique some of the businesses, restaurants and other establishments that I frequent. Today it asked me to describe my experience while at American Fleet in Modesto.

These guys are fantastic! When searching for mechanics that have integrity; mechanics that you can trust their word, it sometimes can take awhile before you find them. These guys are a little off the beaten path, but do yourself, -and your wallet-, a favor; look them up. You will want to thank me later, but it would be better if you just "paid it forward," make a mental note of how Fleet took care of you, and the next time you hear someone talking about how they need a good mechanic, share the experience you had with Dee at American Fleet and ask them to give Fleet a try. My mom suggested them to me over 10 years ago. If I need any auto work done in the Valley, Fleet is where I go. Great service; exceptionally knowledgeable; and you don't have to worry about getting taken to the cleaners. They're good peeps who love working on cars.

Great team!!!! Had them do a complete engine swap on a work truck we have. They did it in the time they said and haven't had a problem with it. Will be using them again.

Needle in a hay stack!! Hard to find detailed & honest mechanic shop. Went over my vehicle, visually showed me the problem and gave me a fair price.
