“We had to place my mother into memory care a couple years before her death. We chose El Rio based on substantial positive feedback from friends and acquaintances; we weren't disappointed. Placing a loved one in memory care is a difficult decision and action. A person with dementia likely won't be aware of their condition, and will resist being removed from familiar surroundings (and will often resist assistance from family and friends). But, eventually it may be the only option to keep the loved one (reasonably) healthy and safe. El Rio provided excellent care, and showed they really cared for their patients (clients?). It's a difficult task, but the El Rio employees were more than up to it.”

“Sierra Oaks is a good place to live! Our family has had some ups and downs living here, but that's apartment life, one should expect it. But more recently Sierra Oaks has a good office, and a great maintenance team. The office does get back to us when we have an issue, Sara and Makela have been great. And Victor and Chris on the maintenance team always takes care of our apartment when something needs to get fixed. The rates are a little pricey, but it's a nice place to live. The workout room is great, and it's pretty peaceful overall to live here. Thanks Sierra Oaks!”
