(January 12, 2018, 3:51 pm)This is an amazing school. It's a school with a majority of economically disadvantaged students and some English language learners. Test scores don't compare to those of other schools but you can't compare apples to oranges when you look at the school demographics. My son is in kindergarten and goes to a 1st grade class for reading so he is challenged more. He picked up reading quickly in TK. The teachers worked together to make this happen. So if your child isn't having issues learning concepts, they challenge them so They Can learn more. They teach based on where each student is rather than teaching everyone the same things which I love because it wouldn't make sense to teach my son what kindergarten is learning in reading if he's beyond that. They have alot of programs to help students learn. The teachers are always trying their best with everyone. My daughter goes to hollow hills but I made a conscious decision to send my son here after soaking with the principal and Grimm to know the teachers.
