(September 15, 2018, 9:25 pm)Wow! This place has some of the most beautiful and amazing views I have ever seen in a long time. The trails are steep and rugged; and the the paths are narrow and lengthy. BUT! If you have the courage and the desire to go through with it, then you will be able to see a sight unlike any other! You have to be very careful and you need to watch where you are going at all times. But man, the panoramic view is worth the effort in the long run. You may find a few deciduous trees along the way if you are lucky. In summary, the trail is long and lengthy, but the view of the city is worth it in the end.

(August 6, 2018, 5:32 pm)The Los Robles Open Space is a great trail head. You can hike, bike and ride a horse in this open space. The trails are mostly without shade so you should bring plenty of water. They do not have fountains or water spigots. Hikers share the trails with mountain bikers so be vigilant. Most mountain bikers have bells on their bikes to warn you that they are coming and most of them are courteous.
