(July 25, 2018, 3:11 pm)Almost every Saturday of the year the Elks sell very tasty & well flavored tri-tip sandwiches, ribs & chicken for very reasonable prices -- check it out, it's worth the trip! They are located at the southeast corner of Los Feliz Dr. & Conejo School Ave. in Thousand Oaks, Ca.

(May 19, 2018, 7:33 pm)Best BBQ in town, on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. $7 for a generous tri-tip sandwich.
We conducted an exhaustive search of BBQ places for tri-tip and BBQ chicken for our 75th family reunion, and this was, by far, the best. We bought *many* pans of prepared tri-tip and chicken, which promptly disappeared at the reunion.
Parking is sketchy, but circle until you find a spot. Worth it, and at a great price, too.
Crews alternate Saturdays, so preparation varies slightly from one week to the next. All good!
