(November 8, 2018, 1:30 am)It is pretty much the Gold Standard. There is not much in features you could want or need. Yes, it may seem to be a bit pricey. Think of it as an Ocean Cruise. Every thing you need is there. All services are available.
You do get a handbook. It is called the contract. You need to understand it before you "set sail". And, get your trusted advisor to walk you through it.

I could go on and on about the caring and capable staff, and about the beautiful grounds, the many activities, and the peace of mind that comes with families knowing our loved ones are living in such a wonderful environment. I cannot imagine a better retirement community in every way. Thank you, UVTO!

(September 10, 2017, 10:34 am)I was in the rehab at University Village after I had a run in with my rooster, breaking my hip and femur. The care here was five star. The staff was very helpful and sympathetic. The physical therapist we're excellent.
My family and friends would come with dinner and we would sit in one of the lovely patios with the fountains keeping us cool. My husband even brought our dog, Thoreau, and he was welcomed by everyone.
I highly recommend University Village in Thousand Oaks. -

(December 23, 2014, 12:39 pm)My in-laws moved here earlier this year. We spent a week visiting them and we're very impressed with the facilities, services, staff, events, and social opportunities. They love it so much; they wish they had made the move sooner!
