  Very safe place to hike parents bring their children and everyone is super friendly. There's really populated areas but there are many hiking trails that are more secluded from others if you're more of a lone hiker.

  We are so fortunate to have Wildwood Park in our backyard. Very few cities in America have Open Space like this and we need to hang onto it at all costs! This place is an amazing, underappreciated gem in Thousand Oaks! I love going for hikes with my wife and dogs. The chaparral ecosystem is incredibly gorgeous and rare too!! ????????????

  I Love hiking in Wildwood Regional Park. Go early ,because it can get busy. Lovely trails, beautiful waterfall. Not too much shade so too hot for most dogs later in the day.

  I went today with my boys and it was awesome ! I couldn’t see and hike all of the trails on one day but will definitely come back again. So much to see and it was beautiful. You can take your children, dogs, bikes, etc. Bring snacks and water for those nature hikes as it will definitely bring an appetite. Also, a walking stick is a good idea for those declines and incline hikes. Park at the other side of the main parking lot as it’s closer to all hiking trails including paradise falls which is a water fall. Good luck !
