Diane always has a great sense direction for what to practice during our lessons as she always seems to know the little tricks in getting a particular sound from my voice. She is great at communicating this with me and I always leave like she has shown me a bit of magic. I would recommend taking lessons with Diane to anyone who wants to explore singing, piano, and their own musicality.”

“Hummingbird is a great and reasonably priced preschool. All of the teachers are very nice and friendly. My 3 year old really loves everyone there. He is learning a ton and will be very well prepared when it’s time to start kindergarten. He talks about each of his teachers all the time. I can tell they all love and encourage him a lot. They allow for my flexible schedule when dropping off and picking up, and are extremely convenient (location wise) for families with older kids attending MATES. We all are very happy with the school!”

“Both of my children did very well at this school, valedictorians, accepted at UC Berkeley and UCLA. The school offers a unique program of anatomy, one of a kind in the entire country, that both of my children took. The local SAT/ACT prep place called Elite even said that Westlake teachers prepare the students so well they can take some subject tests on their own, and can even take AP tests without even taking AP classes (ok may be that requires a dedicated student, but at Westlake students do it!). The best part is most of the student are driven for success, so it rubs on other students too who may not be too goal oriented. Most, not all, teachers are dedicated, are from high ranking universities themselves, and teach very well. It is a small campus with limited space, though not small student population. But they do well with what they have. I would recommend this school any time.”
