  Long parks, hiking trails, beautiful spaces, playplaces. Dog friendly, cook out grills & picnic tables, nice bathrooms, blooming fields.
  Little lizards, few bees near people, no snakes or spiders on the paths. Gentle walks or fun hikes. Paid parking or park outside and walk in. Nice strangers and friendly park employees. Enjoy.

  This place is perfect for a day at the park or a heart pumping hike. Playgrounds with plenty of space and dog friendly. There are even days that are leash free for friendly pets. Different levels of hikers can enjoy the trails and the park makes for a beautiful backdrop for photo shoots. Great for family bbqs and parties as most of the area is first come first serve for tables.

  Even though you have to pay for parking, it's really not that expensive. No more than $5 for the whole day. The park is beautiful. There's lots of space for dogs. There a bunch of trails through the hills that are great to walk.

  Great open park. Open run Dogs welcome in the early mornings. Great space for kids to run and play. Hiking trails in surrounding hills.

  Arroyo Verde is a large park with lots of grass areas, some picnic areas, two playgrounds (one for young children and one for older children), hiking trails with gorgeous views of the city and is a dog friendly park. The trails are great for beginners and more advanced hikers, but it is a true hiking path as it is not stroller friendly (definitely some steep sections).
