Ventura Makos Surf Camp

Jeff provides a very safe and ultra fun environment to learn how to surf for all ages. My son and I first took a private lesson and had a blast. They teach you surfing techniques on the sand so you know what to do on the water. Even we you get in the water, they are right beside you like a parent teaching a youngster how to ride and find their balance a bicycle. They let go at the right moment and BOOM you’re surfing the waves. They had us surfing within a hour of arrival.

My three boys (8, 8 and 5) loved this surf camp so much, we signed them up for a second week. The instructors are all exceptional. I can't recommend them enough.

The staff are super fantastic. I've sent my children there two years in a row. My daughter is now 10 and my son in now 12. The staff really work hard to keep the kids entertained and safe. They rotate positions too to keep themselves fresh throughout the day. We've had an incredibly awesome experience there and I would highly recommend Ventura Makos!
