What a warm friendly place of business. Caleb is greets with a warm smile. He listens to your concerns and addresses each one fully. This was my first time at the shop, so I was prepared to be over sold on what needed to be done on my car. It was definitely not the case with Caleb.
I was very impressed when I received a text (and email) with a complete breakdown of my vehicle inspection, including pictures of each part of the car that was inspected...which was the entire car.
My car was taken in for an oil change. The tires needed to be rotated, because the front were wearing out fasted than the back. He did at no additional cost. The only regret is that I did not bring my car to him years ago, when my friend first mentioned AWS.
This shop is a great model for what customer service should be at all places of business.

I have been taking my car to AWS for years now. The following is what I posted after I first started going to them, and it is still true today. I feel very confident taking my car into AWS. Caleb is so welcoming, polite, and knowledgeable. Needed work is thoroughly explained and all assessments are accompanied by pictures. I appreciate going onto my account and reviewing what has been recommended and why along with what has been done and why. This auto shop is going to honestly make sure my car is in perfect running condition.

Everyone I encountered at AWS was so kind and helpful. Each person I talked to seemed to really listen well. I felt heard and like my car was in good hands. I will definitely be back, when I need expert care delivered with a smile. Thank you AWS!!!

I went to AWS last week for the first time, and honestly, this place deserves 6 stars. This was the best auto shop experience I've ever had! First, Caleb, the owner and first person you meet when you walk in, is the kindest, most attentive, and most honest shop manager you could ever hope to run into. I ended up having to be there longer than expected due to some unforeseen issues with my car, and Caleb chatted me up, gave me a cup of coffee, and checked in with me several times to see how I was doing. During this time, I watched Caleb interact with several other customers and he was consistently patient, generous, and invested in the needs of his clients. He knows that, for many people, having a vehicle that runs well can mean the difference between functioning healthily and having your life fall apart.

The prices are reasonable and the work is thorough. I went in initially for an oil change and routine inspection service, and the technician found several issues, which I consented to being repaired on the spot. After completion, I was immediately emailed a very comprehensive inspection report with tons of details about the work and tests performed, and lots of before/after pictures. This was so helpful! Then, a few days later, I got an email from Caleb checking in to see how things were going. Everything was fine, he was just following up. This is beyond customer service, this is community service!

AWS Automotive is the only place I will take my car to get work done as long as I live here. It is evident that they view themselves as a part of the Ventura community and are incredibly responsible with how they run things as a result. It's places like this that make the entire town a better place!
