  This has always been one of my favorites. It's not new. The rooms don't have air conditioning. There is only a stand alone shower in the restroom. And the dust on the ceiling fan was falling off when we turned it on... BUT,, location, location, location! You can stand at the door of your room and be close enough to the water to toss a rock into it. There is an in-house restaurant there that is really expensive but REALLY good. You could check in and have no reason to leave since the atmosphere by the pool area is so great. Nutshell.... If you want fancy go somewhere else.. If you want a quiet laid back experience, try it.

  Beautiful view. Right on the ocean with many comfy outdoor lounge chairs and tables to enjoy the view. We saw several dolphin pods swim by. Friendly staff. Restaurant has great food with outdoor seating oceanside. It has a vintage, comfy and welcoming feel. Deluxe Suite #24 has incredible view with a huge picture window overlooking the ocean. Mini fridge but no microwave or coffee maker. Continental breakfast that has coffee, juice, pastries, bagels, toast(including gf), fruit and boiled eggs. Quiet time starts at 10pm. Only real cons were strange and large hole in the ceiling of the bedroom closet and the noise from Pacific Coast Hwy through back windows because the inn is right between it and the ocean. Overall, our family LOVED it and we look forward to going back.

  I have been here several times to dine or simply relax. It is a small piece of heaven along the coast and a great value. The staff are nice and very supportive.

  Walk in at 7:45pm and were able to get a table right away inside. When we saw a table clear, we asked host if we could move. The host hesitated and seemed annoyed. We go a table with an amazing view of the water and full moon!
  
  We ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer & scallop with rizotto entree. Our entree came out before the appetizer but both were really good.
  
  Food, view, and our server get 5. Host gets a 3.
