My wife and I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Robert Keating as our dentist. He is an excellent dentist and very courteous. Even though we have used the services of a few dentists in Santa Barbara in the past, we prefer to take a trip to Ventura to see him for our dental work. He is trust worthy and a true professional. He is the best dentist I have ever known Thanks!
Dr. Keating and his his staff is one of the best dentist I have been to in my life, we started seeing him over 5 year years ago and been very happy with all his work. The staff is very professional and will advise a dental plan for you but won't push you on it, just keep seeing you until you're able to proceed to get the perfect teeth.
I just had a cavity filled about 30 minutes ago, my first (if my memory serves me) in over 10 years. Throughout the procedure, I was asked how I was doing and provided the guidance to raise my left hand if I felt discomfort at any point in time (which I didn’t). Dr. Keating has a calm and soothing voice, explaining key points of the process along the way, which together makes everything much more relaxing. I was so relaxed throughout the procedure; I came close to falling asleep!
I have been Dr. Keating’s patient for many years and some of the key things I point out when recommending him to others is: (1) He is the best dentist I have ever had; (2) when you walk in his office, you are greeted with a warm smile (typically greeted by name) as well as a warm, comfortable, and welcome waiting room with a nice selection of magazines; (3) you are taken within minutes of your scheduled appointment to a chair in the back to be worked on promptly (your time is as important as theirs – imagine that); (4) the office spaces are very clean (and I am a bit obsessive compulsive about germs); and (5) office spaces are bright with the one I was in today offering a pleasant view of a beautiful tree.
Under Dr. Keating’s care, I have had fillings (all invisible to the naked eye because they are not metal, they match the color of my teeth perfectly), I have had a crown, and I have had some bonding (I don’t know the technical term) where my tooth enamel was worn away and is now filled to make the tooth less sensitive and to make for a much healthier looking set of teeth. I also have had my teeth whitened, which definitely results in a much lovelier smile.
Over the years I have been extremely happy with my dental care as well as complimented on my teeth and I owe it to the great care I have received over the years from Dr. Keating, Monica (my dental hygienist), and the rest of his staff!
We feel very fortunate that circumstances lead us to Dr. Robert Keating. We were looking for a new dentist when I was in need of my first crown. His concern for my comfort during the process, his professionalism and skills really impressed me.
We actually look forward to our bi-annual cleanings with Monica and Dr. Keating's thorough dental examinations which preclude any serious dental surprises from developing.
