Asking questions, accurate self reporting, and willing to discuss/debate your healthcare with Dr. Sherman will help you the most. When trying a new regimen, remember to journal or keep notes about any changes, so the both of you can be more accurately informed if any changes are needed. Dr. Sherman is easygoing, understanding, very patient, so if you have anxiety, or any type of social phobias, you will warm up to him and his staff fairly quickly. The staff and doctor will work at your pace, until you are so comfortable with them that your joking around with them, or sharing something with the doctor you would normally not share, but because of the trust that you both put on each other, you do. Oh, and if your looking for a script doctor/doctor that hands out pills like candy, this isn't the place for that. I've seen patients that want w/e pill get frustrated fairly quick when the doctor wants to try other methods of pain management, before moving on to prescribed medications.”
